Christopher Gaia has been awarded a 5 year Masters Degree in Teaching Mindfulness Based Courses<strong> </strong>from Bangor University School of Psychology. This qualification is the longest and most in-depth mindfulness training currently available in the UK and includes training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. He has also been involved in clinical research into the effects of mindfulness and self-compassion.
Christopher has been involved in mindfulness, stress-reduction and meditation training for 18 years. He has extensive experience in this field, having participated in more than 50 intensive mindfulness courses and retreats since 1995.
Christopher has also been practicing as a registered Osteopath for 13 years, specialising in body-awareness, pain management and stress reduction.

Christopher Gaia is fully qualified to teach MBCT and MBSR, having completed the most in-depth qualification available in the UK: a 5 year Masters Degree in Mindfulness, at Bangor University School of Psychology. Chris has also practiced mindfulness for nearly 20 years and is currently conducting research into mindfulness and self-compassion.
The mindfulness courses are simple, open, non-religious and non-invasive, requiring no experience or particular skills. During the courses you will learn to:

We offer 8 week courses in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in Chelsea and Clapham Junction. There are also drop-in sessions available and post-course support.
